Kestralfeather sat in the queen's den for a moment, thinking only about her kits. What if they were to be born without a father like she had not hoped? That's why she had been searching for someone in the clan, because after all, the enture situation was due to the fact that her last mate had torn her heart out by leaving. She really did love him, like no other, and then he left out of nowhere, there was nothing the she-cat could do because after all he wasn't bound to a clan like she was, and she didn't want to leave her only family now. Kestralfeather gave out a heaving sigh before pulling herself up and exiting the den. Where she went for a piece of fresh kill. Maybe while she was out, she'd be able to share some stories to the kits, they were always enthusiastic about it, so it was the best she could offer in the mean time as a Riverclan cat of her stature. After grabbing a small sparrow she chose a spot to relax and stayed there, to dig into the fresh kill. The silence wasn't nice, not at all, as a warrior she knew it was a bad sign, not even birds were singing. The she-cat thought of herself as just thinking too much into it and finished her sparrow, before settling her head down, she looked around for any kits who might want a story, or apprentices.
Though the she-cat had so many stories to tell. It seemed like the quiet in today called for a story who had the same aspects. The queen sighed giving a yawn before thinking about it. There was a lot to choose from, and she didn't mean just a small collection. Stories that had stuck to her for generations on end, form different clans passed through gatherings. Kestralfeather was in the least, the place to go if you were looking for an old legends, or just a good friendly story.
