name: Wolfkit, Wolfpaw, Wolfsonggender: She-catage: Six Moonsrank:Kitclan:ShadowClanquick description: Maine coon; fluffy white and silver classic tabby she-cat with forest green eyes and many scars.description: Wolfkit has a long, silky fur coat that is especially fluffy around her neck, ears, and tail. Her silky layers keep her especially warm during leaf-bare, but during the hotter seasons she sometimes struggles to stay cool. Her scent is of wildflowers and pine trees; sweet and wild. Her voice is soft, and song-like; she hardly ever raises it, but when she does, it is clear and feminine. Her chin, chest, toes, and underbelly are snowy white. She has beautiful, bold silver “classic tabby” markings. Her face is a light, moon-silver with the tabby markings streaking on the sides of her face and forehead only a shade darker of gray. Her ears are fluffy white on the inside and light silver on the outside, with distinctive, darker gray tufts on the tips. Down her back, she is a beautiful pattern of thick, rounded dark gray stripes against the moonlight silver-blue and white background. Stripes ring her legs and blend with the lighter silver down to the pure white of her paws. Her long, elegant fluffy tail is a beautiful blend of white, silver and gray. Her whiskers are long and white, and her nose is a rustic rose color. Her eyes are deep, forest green and lined with black, making them even more distinctive. Her gaze seems to reflect all the wonders and secrets of the forest she dwells within. Wolfkit’s Maine coon ancestry makes her slightly larger and taller than most she-cats her age. Her paws are large and her pads are tough from her long treks in the woods. Her weight is healthy for her breed and her strengths are first her stamina and endurance, followed by power and agility, while her poorest quality is speed. Wolfkit has a faint scar across her left eye, as well as random smaller scars all over her muzzle, back, neck, and legs. The one on her face was from an owl when she had wandered out of the nursery one night. Normally an owl would take a small kit like that with no problem, but she luckily took shelter in the roots of an old oak and only got scratched by the bird’s mighty talons. Instead of feeling anger and loathing toward the bird of prey, she learned a valuable lesson that night. She could have been blinded, as many Warriors are “blinded” to the fact that cats are not the only significant animals in the forest. Her eyes are now open to understanding that all creatures deserve equal appreciation and respect, and it was her own ignorance that almost got her killed that night. She is now much more cautious, especially at night, and has taken care to learn the ways of the owl and to appreciate the great bird for its skill of hunting in the shadows. The other scars are all results from her wild adventures in the woods, from scuffling with ravens to climbing rugged pines to wandering through briars. personality: Wolfkit is adventurous. She absolutely loves to explore and discover everything there is to know about the world. She is a dreamer and cannot easily settle herself in one place. She often thinks of leaving the clan and living the grand and challenging life of a loner, but her blood-bond with ShadowClan seems to keep her loyal and determined to become a great warrior. She is naturally intelligent, as well as curious, and loves to investigate the lively world around her. She is greatly interested in the locations and benefits of trees, flowers, and wildlife. Wolfkit is a survivalist and makes it a priority to understand and respect the wilderness, as she is a part of nature’s cycle. Wolfkit is independent. She will often go out to explore on her own, which can sometimes get her into trouble. She is a very shy she-cat and prefers the company of trees and flowers rather than the company of other young cats. She is very mature for her age (and perhaps even a bit prudish), so she tries to avoid the drama and cocky nature of the other kittens. The absence of her father and the loss of her mother makes her cautious of forming close relationships with other cats. Wolfkit is peaceful. This is her weakness, as well as her strength. In another life, perhaps she would have chosen the path of a medicine cat. But she could never settle for the sheltered, social life of being the clan’s healer. She is a magnificent huntress and never forgets to give thanks to her prey after she makes a kill, as her mother taught her. She uses her ever expanding knowledge of the world around her to track and estimate the moves and behavior of her prey, as a good hunter should. However, when it comes to fighting, Wolfkit's mother taught her that it is only appropriate when it's absolutely necessary. She is very tactful and strategic in combat, and if there is another way to solve the dispute without a fight, she will pursue it. She seems to prefer to use her teeth, rather than her claws like other cats. This is why her mother fondly called her “My Little Wolf”. Wolfkit has a particular fear of water; more specifically, the lake. When she was a kit, she wandered too far down to the lake and got washed out to where she couldn’t touch. She almost drown, but was luckily saved by a passing patrol. Ever since then, she has had nightmares about strange creatures pulling her into deep, black water and the breath slowly leaving her body. She is determined to one day conquer her fear, and make it her goal to understand and respect the lake just as she does the rest of the land. Wolfkit is also especially weary about two-legs and resents them for their pollution to the forest and their obnoxious, intruding behavior. Her mother warned her that they are very powerful animals and should be avoided at all costs. When it comes to toms, Wolfkit will prefer older, more mature males. She is fearful of developing close relationships, and when she does, she will become extremely attached easily. She will probably not be one to have “one-night-stands”. She cannot even seem to hold a casual friendship with any cat, whether it be male or female. She has a bit of a “daddy complex” and will look to powerful, high-standing warriors as potential mates rather than toms her own age. This is due to her absence of a father figure; however she is still young and has yet to experience the “dating-mating” world. history: Wolfkit only knew her father for a short time. She carries faint visions of a powerful, noble tom that she looked up to as a hero. After her father left and never returned, Wolfkit was too young to understand when her mother tried to explain that he did not belong to the a clan and that she would probably never see him again. Wolfkit's mother's name was Seashellheart and she was a wise and compassionate queen who had only ever had one kit; Wolfkit. She taught Wolfkit to love and respect all life. All beings of nature, such as plants and animals, are equal and each shares a part of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Wolfkit shared a close bond with her mother, however, just when Wolfkit turned six moons old, her mother fell deathly ill and passed away. Wolfkit is old enough to take care of herself and is ready to take on apprenticeship.
