Description:Goldpaw is obviously named after his pelt. His pelt is a orange-gold colour that resembles the colour of dying sunlight. Through his pelt are stripes and streaks of a darker orange hue. His under belly and chest are a lighter ginger colour along with his paws and tail tip. Goldpaw's eyes are a dull amber colour.
Goldpaw's most prominent physical ability is his ability to swim. He can swim (ironically) like a fish. His long legs propel him through the water and his strong tail acts like a rudder. Goldpaw's paws are webbed giving him an extra push in the water.
Personality: Goldpaw is a very loopy cat, to say it in the kindest of terms. He's very dreamy and has a tendency to space out during conversations. It is very difficult to hold Goldpaw's attention for very long. Goldpaw is a very mellow cat to an almost frustrating degree. You can yell at him and all he will do is smile at you stupidly and make a remark about the weather. Clearly Goldpaw isn't the smartest cat in the clan, but that doesn't make him any less of a clan cat. He loves RiverClan and would defend his clan with his life.
Perhaps the weirdest trait of Goldpaw is the fact that he thinks he actually a fish. He believes he can breath under water which usually causes some problems when he almost drowns. Despite their best efforts, RiverClan has yet to convince Goldpaw he is not a fish.
History: Goldpaw was the only kit in his litter to survive the harsh leaf bare months. His mother named him for the light gold-orange colour of his pelt and loved her surviving kit very much. Earlier in the moon Goldpaw's father had died when he slipped through the ice and drowned. Goldpaw sought comfort from the other cats his age and was a really out going and popular cat. All of the other kits and even some of the apprentices looked up to him like an older brother. When Goldpaw earned his apprenticeship he went on his first patrol with his mentor. The patrol was padding along Thunder Path when Goldpaw was hit by a passing monster. Luckily the monster had tried to stop and Goldpaw wasn't really hurt, except for his head. The patrol brought Goldpaw back to the camp and the medicine cat healed his minor injuries. Later in the day when he woke up, there was clearly something wrong with Goldpaw. For one thing, he thought he could transform into a fish.
