Description: Burntpaw takes after her father Flametail, both being Japanese bobtails. Burntpaw's coat is very dense but also very short. The main colour of her pelt is an ivory white colour that makes up most of her body. She does have some flame coloured patches on her body. Her right ear, tail, front right paw and two patches on her dorsal sides are a fiery red colour. Being a Japanese bobtail, Burntpaw's tail is nothing more than a stub but that doesn't stop Burntpaw from wagging the stub when she wants to. From her accident Burntpaw has many scars all over her body. Her front paws, shoulder, ears and face all are missing fur and have burn scars. This obviously doesn't make Burntpaw very pleasant to look at, but she doesn't let it bother her. To distract from these scars are her enchanting eyes. One is an ocean blue and the other is a strong hazel.
Burntpaw is smaller than average with lightning fast reflexes and a natural balance that allows her to dart along tree branches with ease. Burntpaw is not the cat you want to go looking for if you want a good fight. She is an amazing tracker with a strong sense of smell and seemingly never ending endurance.
Personality: Burntpaw is a very emotionally strong she cat, she can keep a cool head in any situation. She has a heart of gold and will protect any cat that is in need of trouble. She can be terribly stubborn, but very determined when she gets a task and will work at it until she get is right. Burntpaw's morals are very strong and she can relate easily to can and can be very empathetic to others.
Despite all this, Burntpaw is a very cheerful apprentice, she is eager and full of energy. Burntpaw is very optimistic and upbeat at most times, but if someone were to point out her scars she gets really shy and self conscious.
History: Flametail and Stoneclaw's romance was actually developed from their original relationship as mentor and apprentice. Flametail fell in love with his mentor instantly and worked on seducing the young warrior from the beginning of his apprenticeship. Stoneclaw was convinced it was just a crush but when Flamepaw grew into the strong handsome Flametail, she returned his feelings and the two ended up becoming mates.
Stoneclaw gave birth to two kits, Applekit and Divekit. Divekit took after his mother with his grey tabby coat and Applekit took after her father with her white coat and flame coloured patches. The little family lived happily and the kits grew quickly before their parents and soon Applekit and Divekit were ready to become apprentices. On the day they were to be named apprentices, Stoneclaw and Flametail took their kits out to introduce them to the territory. The parents took their kits as far as Thunder path because they tired quickly. Excited with their new surroundings, Divekit and Applekit were bouncing around like a pair of rabbits. In their excitement, the two kits wondered onto Thunder path, and right into the way of a monster. The monster tried to avoid the two kits at the last moment, but ended up hitting a tree and bursting into flames instead. Divekit was killed instantly by the monster, as he tried to defend Applekit at the last second. Terrified, Flametail and Stoneclaw tried to rescue their kits, Flametail managed to save Applekit but went back into the flames after his mate and son, he did not come back.
Attracted by the noise, a patrol from both ThunderClan and ShadowClan came to see what happened. In a rare moment of unity, the two clans worked together to rescue the remaining kit and the bodies of the dead cats.
Applekit was taken to the a medicine cat and was saved with only scars left over to show what had happened. At her apprentice ceremony she was given the name "Burntpaw" for the burn scars she had all over her body.
