Summer
[/size] A tan and white she-cat walked down a alleyway that she pratically owned. She looked around to see if anyone was around, none. Good, I like being by myself she thought. She jumped up onto a garbage can and then onto the wall. Summer walked to the end and then curled up into a ball. Today has been another boring day she thought. She wasnt asleep yet, just watching what was going on.[/blockquote]

Just as the orange and white she-cat leaped onto the wall and out of sight, a brown and orange mixed tabby slunk down the same alleyway, ears swiveling nervously and light green eyes looking around as if expecting an ambush of alley cats to come out at her. I dont understand how cats can live here! The horrid smell and noise of human's cars...the filthy and unkempt walkways...the forest is definatly the place to go over this dump. Maple thought to herself with distaste, kicking away an empty wrapper littering the dark alley as she walked and leaping nimbly over a puddle of 'poisened' water. What am I doing here anyway?...Oh yes, those clan cats have uped their patrols. This is the only place to get a decent meal without a nice scar included. Maple's dark tail flicked irritably at the thought of those cats. They acted as if the entire forest belonged to only them...What about the others? What about the ones who were half-straving on the streets? While they ate plump moles and mice, the alley cats were left with carrion, scraps, and fighting with rats over shelter and resources. Thankfully, Maple was clever enough to outsmart the clan cats and charm the humans into getting some real substanence. As she neared the end of the alley that opened up to the humans homes and eventually the forest, Maple stopped and sniffed cautiously, searching for any signs of rival cats or even the brazening rats. A strange smell came to her dark-pink nose and she stiffened. It was oddly familiar but she couldnt place a name on that smell....Maple's green eyes scanned the area and looked up at the buildings towering over her but nothing came into view. But something was here...someone was here....and until she found out, Maple wasnt moving.

Rivaxorus hadn't been out much today. The clans were being more and more active, and if they saw her, she would most definitely not be welcome. Considering she was wanted for murder. She knew everything about the clans, because she had grown up as a clan cat, and she still had her beliefs that Starclan would guide her path into her home once again. Unless they had greater plans, and well, it could go off from there if she could guess it so. The calico shifted her tail as she jumped off a fence. She was on the border of the twoleg city, where the edge of the forest was of course. Twolegs never caught her interest, all the toms were all just sex deprived slaves of those no fur creature. Rivaxorus herself had avoided a lot of their coaxes to be their mate. In the end, she wasn't interested in love, not with her current situation, not when she was an ex clan member, and knew how much of a disgrace it was to be the mother of a kittypets kits or a loner for that manner. She herself hadn't known her father, nor her mother. Rivaxorus' mother had died at birth and had a relationship with more then three toms, making it nearly impossible to tell who her and her sisters father was. They both looked completely different, but they had a uncanny bond with each other, Heathersong and Rivaxorus. Rivaxorus did not regret any choices she made, but she was hoping in time her sister would get rid of Stonefang who was a traitor to the clan.
The beautiful she-cat stopped at the alley, where she noticed the scent of two cats. Stray's more likley, or kittypets that their owners let them out, which was common around this neighborhood. Riv rolled her eyes as she stopped at the entrance, stepping her paws backwards for a moment. One cat was hiding, hoping the tan and white she-cat wouldn't notice her. It was obvious if this cat was hostile, it wouldn't turn out well for any cat. Rivaxorus knew how to handle herself though, she wasn't just a fighter, she had the qualities of an excellent leader. She didn't trust anyone until they proved to her that they were worthy. If they wouldn't listen to her, she would force them to for their safety. After all, what else to do when some blind cat wouldn't open their eyes to the real answer in the world. Her green eyes scanned the alley, it was large alright, probably would be good pickings for these stray cats. Riv had meet some mean one's some kind and wise one's. Just judging by their scent, their posture, could tell her a lot of things. The calico shook her head and pawed her face once for a scratch on her head, before she turned, crouched and came up behind the trash. If she was lucky, the tan she-cat wouldn't notice her, since her back had been turned to her the entire time. Rivaxorus came up to the other calico, that looked just like her.
"What's hiding going to do? No good will it?" Rivaxorus let out a small purr, she flopped down next to the cat and crossed her front paws. She kept her voice low, ignoring all the other scents of trash. It was easy with all the training she had recieved. She could smell out a mouse in this trash if she really wanted to. Not that it would do her any good at the moment. Rivaxorus wouldn't be surprised if this she-cat would slash out at her. Even though the smart choice would be to have a conversation to try and get out of the alley alive if that tan she-cat was hostile. It was survival of the fittest, and Riv was fit for any task thrown at her. She had her fair loses as well as win's she knew how the bodies and anatomy worked with these cats. What their brains twisted around fake ideals around tomorrow, of owning everything on their own. "Need help getting out, or are you just going to sit there like a mouse terrified of being hunted? Hmmm, hunt or be hunted." Riv finally stood up. She flicked her tail, it was time for some well needed entertainment. The calico jumped out behind the tan she-cat in the alley.
"Hey you, mind sharing a place for once, makes you selfish to let all these pickings just go to you. Could feed a lot of strays." Rivaxorus raised her body posture, tall, strong, her muscles flexed against her shoulders. If this cat was smart, she wouldn't attack her, that was of course, Riv was just testing the type of mind of these two cats. She wasn't on either of their side's, but neither was she going to give up her pride something was silly as fighting over a stupid alley she supposedly "owned". Rivaxorus' tail twitched at the end as a smile twisted across her face. She gestured her head towards her. "I'm not looking for a fight, just came to see what kind of cats are in the neighborhood." Well, it was obvious she was trying to provoke the cat, but it was pushing someone to see how far they could go. It was a test her mentor had taught her in the days of being with Skyclan. Cats seemed to fight best, when pushed and provoked, that, or they acted rash. Rash meant mindless, otherwise, smarter cats would be a better survivor when it came to the world.
Rivaxorus loved entertainment when she was annoyed, that or pissed off. The recent days hadn't really been in her favor, so acting out was her best way to vent. Usually she would listen, she would respect, but if they wanted respect they would have to show it to her. Rivaxorus was a cat who knew her way around, yet like any other cat, she had her flaws when she wasn't in a good mood. This was one of them. Causing as much trouble as she could, then making a run for it like a great thief she was. Often she had her fun with dogs, but that was only mild for the time that had passed in her life. So, just unlucky cats, caught her in the not so good mood at the time and place. Once she cooled down, things would balance themselves out and she would be a bit less hostile or rather creepy towards everyone.

Maple almost jumped when she heard the pawsteps coming down the alleyway, obviously attempting to sneak up on her, but she kept her cool and didn't even bother to turn around. Turned out the cat was closer than she thought and had the mouse-brained idea to just waltz up and plop herself down next to the tabby-calico she-cat."What's hiding going to do? No good will it? Need help getting out, or are you just going to sit there like a mouse terrified of being hunted? Hmmm, hunt or be hunted." Anger flared up in Maple's and she barely kept herself from slashing a few nice cuts across that smug little smile of this new she-cats face. Hiding? Hiding?! I'm not hiding, I'm in plain sight you insignificant flea. Her swirled dark tail lashed with annoyance as she watched the cat get back up and leap onto the wall close by. But as her green eyes set upon the she-cat, Maple was overcome with shock. She looks exactly like me.. The same green eyes, the similar calico pattern, the provoking spirit...it was as if someone took a little bit of Maple and Summer and formed this she-cat. The scent of the forest hit Maple's sensitive nose and the fur on her back and neck raised in alarm. She has those clan cats scent. What is one of thier kind doing here? She thought suspiciously, taking a few cautionary steps away from the new she-cat on the wall who seemed to be talking with someone else, but both cats were hidden from her view. Ignoring the obvious rudeness of the cat and wishing to satisfy and test on this she-cat as she was her, Maple narrowed her burning light green eyes up at the wall where the two other cats were. Your one of those clan cats, arent you? Maple spoke fiercely and fearlessly, not intimidated by the cocky nature and muscular build of the she-cat. Why are you here? This isn't your land. Yes, you have the entire forest for yourself, why are you here? Maple continued to question silently, keeping herself standing tall and proud with firey green eyes focused on the top of the wall. If it came down to it, Maple would fight for the one place she could walk without clan cats breathing down her neck. She hated them just as much as she hated her sister, and every day she pushed herself to become a better hunter, fighter, and tracker. Seek, hunt, destroy. Maple wasn't a small cat etheir that she couldnt put up a good battle with a clan cat. She had her own muscles and moves to strengthen and make more effieceint her blows. And if the fight became too heated, she could wriggle right out from under the claws of an attacker, her sleek soft fur like a repellant to grasping weapons, and then race off into the shadows. Yes, Maple was ready for whatever may come her way and was prepared to do away with anyone who dared mock or attack her.

The tan and white she-cat looked around. She saw two other cats that werent far from her. She got up quietly and jumped down from the wall. They're in my alley and they should know better. she thought and let her claws unsheathed. She was coming up behind her sister, right before she attacked, the smell got to her nose. The smell of their mother. She sheathed her claws quickly and just stood there.
The last time she had seen her family was when her parents died. That was the last time but maple did not know that she was always watching from afar. Summer, don't let those thoughts get to you. Your my little girl, and always will be. Don't ever forget that. That was the last thing that her mother said to her before she had left. Why am I turning into a monster, I know it's not me but something isn't right. she thought to herself. Maple She said quietly. I haven't seen you in moons she said to her sister. I'm sorry for what I did to you that day, that wasn't me. It felt like something took over my body. She continued. She wanted to let the tears out but the other side of her was strong and wouldn't. She wanted to nuzzle her sister but what would her sister do? Would she attack her or forgive her?

While the tabby-calico she-cat waited for the 'clan-cat' to respond, she heard the sound of pawsteps and claws barely clicking across the paved walk. Having enough of this sneaking around and trying to surprise her, Maple whirled around, bristling and claws unsheathed. And what she saw couldn't have made her anymore surprised or furious. It was the tan tabby that Maple was so bitterly able to call her sister. Maple Summer said in a quiet voice, eyes wide and sincere, claws no longer out. I haven't seen you in moons. I'm sorry for what I did to you that day, that wasn't me. It felt like something took over my body. Maple stood there and looked at the she-cat with narrowed, burning green eyes that matched Summers, not bothering to let her gaurd down or show any kindness to the one who almost killed her as a kit. Sorry? Ah, yes you should be sorry. How dare you even show your face to me! After attacking me, after leaving the family, you think you can pop up out of nowhere and say your sorry and I'll forgive you? Just like that?! Maple fumed, voice almost rising to a yowl as all the pain and anger from all those moons came out in her voice, her body shaking from the intensity of her emotion. How DARE you. She said in a low, growling voice, her tail lashing from side to side and fur standing on end as she threw the words at her sister. After all this time...after all the hatred and malice you showed to me and our family, you think I'm going to forgive you for offering a simple 'Sorry'?! Maple had a right mind to make Summer pay for her suffering with her claws, shred her ears and rip out her pretty fur....but the soft inside of her held Maple back. It coaxed her to forgive and forget what happened...but the shell of her, the bitter, angry side she had come to display thought otherwise.

She was listening carefully to what her sister was saying. The truth was that she shouldn't have attacked her when they were little. Well your the one in my alleyway! If you can't tell that I marked it! she yowled. Her fur bristling and she wanted to get her claws out and finished what she started but she didn't. Yeah well I thought that you would forgive me but I guess you don't! she screeched. Now I know why I wanted to stay away from her. She is just so ignorant! She thought.
Then the darkness had come over and taken over. Her eyes changed from light green to yellow. He claws came out and she jumped at maple attacking her once again. Slashing at her like knives at a egg. Her claws were sharp as knives and there was no stopping Summer this time. You dare no accept my apology? she said in a deep voice. This time the darkness would take over the sweet and innocent summer.

For the first time in forever, Maple felt like a kit again. But in a good way, no not in a good way at all. From so many moons ago, she could still identify the darkness that creeped into Summer's green eyes, the same look that came right before she set sights to kill, just like that day when they were but kits.
Summer lunged, but Maple was ready. As her sister came at her, the tabby-calico she-cat allowed herself to be thrown onto her back, but as the tan and white she-cat came over her body with slashing claws, Maple used the momentum from the fall to push Summer off her. A nicely aimed set of claws met Maple's cheek, though, and she let out a short cry of pain as the three wounds opened and began to trickle blood.
Not wanting to hurt her sister but not wanting to die etheir, Maple shot up to her paws, her light green eyes narrowed against the attacker. Just thinking about the entire situation, including the nice scar she was going to aquire, made the tabby FURIOUS. Do you honestly think by attacking me you'll get your forgiveness? Are you crazy?! Maple snarled, teeth bared and claws still out and ready to be used. Never had she laid her claws on Summer but now was no time for being sisterly and safe. Summer seemed out for blood now since she didnt have her apology accepted, and deep down Maple was fearful of what as going to come next.

As the darkness was taking over summer's body, she tried to fight it. When Maple threw summer off, her eyes changed to green and then back to yellow. Atleast summer was trying to get back but it kept pushing her back. Well I thought that would change your mind. But now you have to die The darkness said. All of a sudden summer fell to the ground on her side.
Summer was in her mind and so was Azazel, the darkness. Now she knew who it was. Someone she had met a long time ago. He was a spirit that would take over her and she never knew. I should of known it was you! she hissed at him. Ah but you didn't and guess what, I was the one who was helping you out and your sister should be dead now. Azazel said. Summer looked at the cat and growled. I swear if you kill my sister you will die by me! She yowled and ran at him. Summer's razor sharp claws sliced Azazel. He looked at her and laughed, I can't die he said. Summer looked at him and tackled him. She bit his neck and started to slice it. After a while he faded away.
Eyes opened and the color was green. Summer had finally gotten control but she didn't know for how long. Maple, It was Azazel she said and tears started to go.
