Raincloud listened intently to Robinfrost as he repeated what his mentor and could have been mate had said to him before she died and she too immediatly understood what the deceased she-cat meant. "Ahh...yes, I do believe thats what she wanted for you to do. She nodded her head some in agreement and looked up at the appearing stars that Robinfrost was also looking up to. And she knew why. The tom, like all the rest, believed in deceased cats joining their warrior ancestors up in the stars, each one of those twinkling lights a distant relative. It was a comforting thought she supposed, used to help ease the grief and pain of losing a loved one in death, but Raincloud just didnt see the sense in it. Live and let die. Why can't they just accept that whats dead is dead? Raincloud thought to herself, closing her eyes for a moment before looking back at the tabby next to her. "There is nothing else you can do but move on and live. To grieve forever is like throwing away your life, not that grieving is bad but you just need to know when to let go and put the past behind you." Raincloud said softly, looking up to the stars once more with a small smile on her face. "The future is a bright one, Robinfrost, and life is what we make it."She concluded, not taking her eyes off those glimmering lights that were spreading across the dying sky. Her silver-gray tail curled around her paws as she sat next to Robinfrost, this cat she once knew nothing about but now she is slowly beginning to learn more about him and why he behaves differently. "Thank you for sharing that with me, Robinfrost." Raincloud said, and she genuinly meant it. She realized that what he just shared with her was deeply personal and probably hard to say outloud considering the frown still on his muzzle, but she really appreciated his willingness to open up to her and she wouldn't even dare betraying that information to anyone.

Robinfrost looked at the she-cat beside him for a moment and then back to the starry night. It was starting to get late and they would have to go back to camp soon. He didn’t mind for it would always be the same and yet he felt so much better after talking with someone about Bloomfur “Thank you for lending me an ear.” Robinfrost said with a chuckle. Slowly a smile crossed his muzzle as he looked at the stars again. Raincloud was right and he had to move on, to live his life to the fullest. Robinfrost for a moment thought he could hear Bloomfur “Move on my strong warrior and have the love you deserve.” Was the whisper he heard?
Robinfrost looked at the she-cat again and again touch her nose with his own. Robinfrost opened his eyes that he hadn’t known were closed “Thank you for listening to a heart broken tom cat.” He said smiling at her with kindness showing in his icy blue eyes. Leaning back away from her and looking to see what she would say about his thanks for her help. His heart had been broken since the day Bloomfur dead and now with her it felt like some warmth has placed itself where Bloomfur left it cold after her death. This time Robinfrost didn’t look to the sky in hopes of maybe seeing Bloomfur. Robinfrost had all he needed right here “I think we should head back to camp before the others worry about us or send out a patrol to find us.” Robinfrost said with a smile. He felt so light in his heart and it felt like the broken pieces were being put back together.

Raincloud couldn't help but blush at Robinfrost's thanks and the nose-to-nose gesture he once again offered, giving her a small shock of elecricity, and she looked at the ground with a shy smile. Perhaps this was the one she had been wishing for since her apprentince-ship...this tom she barely knew yet felt a sort of connection to. "Um...Well...I'm always happy to help anyway I can." She replied, nodding her head some as she looked back up at Robinfrost's icy blue eyes that were now filled with a forgien spark of kindness. She couldn't help but smile when she saw those eyes. "Hmm...I guess I'll have to help you mend that broken heart of yours now, won't I?" Raincloud added, giving Robinfrost a gentle nudge with her shoulder and her shy smile broadened when she noticed that he was no longer focused on the stars..instead, those once cold, barred eyes now warm and welcoming looked only at her.
Raincloud couldn't help but laugh short and softly at the tabby's last remark, ears burning a bit and eyes looking down at the ground infront of her again as she could only imagine what the clan would think seeing them both come in together after leaving alone. "Ahh yes, I do suppose your right. I have some prey buried along the way we could take back to camp so it doesn't seem we were neglecting our duties." Raincloud said with a certain cheer she hadn't used since the day her brother died. Robinfrost made her feel in place and at peace where no one seemed to, and it was a good feeling she realized she misssed. This could be the start of a great companionship. She thought to herself as she once again looked up at the tabby from her short height, emeralds glistening in the dying light of day and silver light of the stars. Yes, this seed of planted aquantinceship could most surely blossom into a beautiful flower of friendship.

Robinfrost looked at Raincloud as she nudged his should and gently nudged her back with a smile. He chuckled at her words as Robinfrost quickly stood up “Than let’s go pick up your prey.” Robinfrost said while leaping down. Mock touched his paws and it was kind of nasty to see his tabby paws covered in dark brown mock. Quickly shaking his paws of the mud and walking towards the tree line “let’s go before it rains or something and we get stuck in the mud.” He said before making his way throw. Robinfrost smelled his way to her pray and once found started to dig it up for her. It would be wonderful to have someone as pretty as Raincloud as his mate. But for right now it would be a crush and it made Robinfrost feel like a young apprentice again. Which wasn’t a bad thing and it would feel good to have love in his life again. Bloomfur wanted this for him and he felt it would be right. But Robinfrost was being a fraidy cat as to ask and would just for now be her friend who has a crush on her. It would be strange for him to be friends with her and she had said that she would try to heal his broken heart. It was kind thing to say and it made him feel better about Bloomfur’s death.
